Jill Litner Kaplan

Principal & Lead Designer

Jill Litner Kaplan established her award-winning full-service interior design firm 19 years ago and has been involved in the world of design for the last 35 years. Her firm’s design work has been featured in the book New England Modern as well as in Modern Luxury Interiors, New England Home, Boston Home, Design New England, and HGTV Magazine. Specializing in chic and highly personalized interiors, Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors is known for its commitment to collaborating with its clients & project partners and to providing excellent service. Jill has a natural passion for fashion, loves fine fabrics, and knows how to create an assortment that is visually stimulating and dynamic with no detail spared. Jill truly understands how to create an environment that is a unique expression of her clients—one that addresses their personal style and preferences, while at the same time infusing it with her own well-honed taste and sense of energy. Having lived in Paris and traveled extensively, Jill carries her worldly sense of style and love of collecting art and objects throughout all of her projects. She has developed an outstanding dedicated team that provides comprehensive design services to her clients. They are very resourceful, highly organized, and committed to providing hands-on management to each client project.

Raised in the Greater Boston area, Jill moved to New York City to attend Columbia University and subsequently pursued a career in fashion for the next 12 years. Trained by Saks 5th Avenue and Macy’s as a Women’s Designer Sportswear Buyer, she honed her skills in the luxury goods business, merchandising and marketing for stores nationwide. She subsequently worked for Burlington Industries as a Product Marketing Manager in their home furnishings division where she learned how to manufacture fabrics and market consumer products. Each of these experiences provided her with an opportunity to train her creative eye and manage & operate very detail-oriented businesses in both the apparel and home furnishings markets.

Driven to refine her management skills even further, Jill moved back to Boston to attend Harvard Business School and, upon graduation, started a retail consulting firm called JK Creative Retail Solutions prior to founding Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors. Jill’s background has put her in a unique position, and her role as a designer is the natural packaging and extension of everything she has ever done in the past. She not only has the opportunity to use her editorial skills, create rich assortments of furniture, fabrics, art, and accessories that are individually tailored to reflect her clients’ lifestyles, but confidently manages the complexity of their projects as well. Her experienced team has collaborated on countless projects with some of New England’s best architects, builders, and contractors. Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors has done projects in Florida, Washington, D.C., Vermont, Maine, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and all over the Boston area.

Maggie Wraight

Senior Interior Design Project Manager

Maggie joined JLKI almost three years ago, and she brings her love of interior design and infectious warmth to work with her every day. As the Senior Interior Design Project Manager, Maggie works closely with JLKI’s clients to help manage every aspect of the design process—from sourcing furnishings to procurement & installation and everything in between. Maggie supervises scheduling and installations for all projects, which involves coordinating closely with everyone involved: vendors, the warehouse & delivery team, subcontractors, and clients. Under Maggie's careful vision and direction, cabinet elevations and furniture floor plans come to life. She is an excellent communicator and oversees the logistics of each unique project to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. JLK Interiors’ colleagues appreciate Maggie’s sense of confidence and creativity, and her ceaseless ability to multitask and communicate with every project participant.

Prior to joining JLKI, Maggie was a Design Assistant for a Boston area interior designer doing both commercial and residential projects. She was also the Design Manager for an industry pioneer specializing in large luxury homes and short-term rentals in specific U.S. markets. Maggie is a native New Englander and attended St. Lawrence University where she exhibited true team spirit as the captain of the field hockey team—she even continues to play locally! She regularly bakes yummy treats for our office and paints the cutest paintings she calls “Maggie Doodles.”

Annamaria DiBartolomeo

Interior Design Project Manager

We are delighted to welcome the most recent addition to team JLKI— Annamaria DiBartolomeo, a native Bostonian. Annamaria was a natural fit for the team with her passion for design and bubbly, enthusiastic personality. Her excellent organizational skills will be put to use in managing operations and working closely with our many vendors to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Coming to us from Serena & Lily, a design studio in Chestnut Hill, MA, she has had terrific experience managing both vendor and client relationships and merchandising home furnishings. Annamaria is also a retail guru and brings extensive business planning skills from her days working for Talbots, TJX, and Burlington stores. She will be the multitasking wiz we need to do comprehensive project management at JLKI.

With a BS in Business Administration from Suffolk’s Sawyer School of Business and a certificate in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design, Annamaria is ready to make our clients' wishes into realities.
